From writer, illustrator, and Instagram sensation Mari Andrew comes Am I There Yet: The Loop-de-Loop, Zig-Zagging Journey to Adulthood. With her signature illustrations and essays, Andrew captures the feelings and comical complexities of millennials in her on-point guide to navigating adulthood.
From creating a home in a new city, to understanding the link between a good hair dryer and good self-esteem, to dealing with the depths of heartache and loss, these tales of the twentysomething document a road less traveled—a road that sometimes is just the way you’re meant to go. Organized by universal themes of becoming an adult—including loss, adventure, and ambition—each chapter shares Andrew’s personal experiences in never-before-seen essays, accompanied by illustrations.
Andrew discovered a love of doodling while working in a bakery where she took some creative license with the display case labels. When she realized she could use her hobby to connect with people, she began to chronicle her work on Instagram and quickly became a success, with over 725,000 followers to date. Book signing to follow.
