Matt Sesow

- This event has passed.
Inspired by a childhood accident that resulted in the amputation of his dominant hand, Matt Sesow began painting as a hobby when he was 28 while living and working in Washington, DC as software engineer. After painting nights and weekends for seven years, he left his day job and became a professional full-time artist in 2001, establishing himself within the genre of “outsider artists.” Sesow sells his art at an affordable price to collectors directly, and his exhibition portfolio includes galleries and museums from around the world.
Sesow’s artwork is drenched in bright colors and aggressive lines that oftentimes tell an unusual story, document a current event, or present an iconic image from popular culture in a new way.
