Melissa Manchester
- This event has passed.
There is very little that the incredibly talented Melissa Manchester has not done. She starred in the national tours of Andrew Lloyd Weber’s Music Of The Night and Song And Dance. She created the role of Maddy on the hit series Blossom. She was the first recording artist in the history of the Academy Awards to have two nominated movie themes in a given year: Through The Eyes Of Love and The Promise. She won a Grammy Award for best female vocalist in 1982 singing “You Should Hear How She Talks About You.”
Manchester was also presented with the Governor’s Award by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences in 1997 for her contributions to the music and recording arts. The legendary pop-vocalist performs her notable hits in an intimate performance under the dome.
