Mountain Man: Live from the Garden
- This event has passed.
Performing sets filmed in North Carolina in the woods, at home, and by the fire, Mountain Man offers three nights of music, each with a different set list featuring songs from Made the Harbor, Magic Ship, and some of the trio’s favorite covers. These concerts will stream at 9:00 pm EST on Thursdays, December 3, 10, and 17, and will be available for a 72-hour playback in case you can’t make the stream.
Described by The New York Times as a “love letter to the folk traditions of Appalachia,” Mountain Man formed in 2009 when Amelia Meath (also of electronic pop duo Sylvan Esso), Molly Erin Sarlé, and Alexandra Sauser-Monnig met by chance on a college campus. They quickly drew critical acclaim for their debut album, Made the Harbor, recorded on rickety equipment in an abandoned factory, and after an eight-year hiatus, followed up with their 2018 record Magic Ship.
