National Refugee Shabbat
with Rabbi Nora
- This event has passed.
Happy Hour – 6:00 pm
Service – 7:00 pm
Celebrate National Refugee Shabbat at this inclusive service led by Rabbi Nora. With music from Aaron Shneyer, Jeff Geld, and Sarah Fredrick, the service blends contemporary and traditional elements for an experience that feels both familiar and fresh. The service will feature a speaker from Ukraine who recently arrived to the U.S. on a refugee visa.
To help support local refugees and resettlement efforts, please bring toothbrushes and full-sized tubes of toothpaste to donate. Learn more about upcoming volunteer opportunities, including apartment set-ups, by visiting the Edlavitch DCJCC’s calendar.
This event has been generously underwritten by The Revada Foundation of the Logan Family.
