National Pride Shabbat

Jun 9, 2017 • 6:15 pm

On Erev Pride (the night before the Capital Pride Parade), Rabbi Shira, Rabbi Laurie Green of Bet Mishpachah, and members of GLOE lead an inclusive service celebrating the diversity of our community. Celebrate Pride with the entire Jewish community—LGBTQAI and our friends and allies.

In partnership with OneTable, we’ll offer two different Shabbat dinner options:
Click here to register for the Young Professional Shabbat Dinner for those in their 20s and 30s.
Click here to register for the Community Shabbat Dinner,
which is open to all ages.

Before services, mingle with old friends and new faces over light refreshments. Following happy hour and services, enjoy a home-cooked meal at one of our two dinner options, and take part in Pride-inspired trivia, hosted by a Drag Queen.

Dinner is a Kosher meat meal, vegetarian and gluten-free options available. If you have any food needs, please contact Abby at least five days before the event.

Sixth & I strives to be an accessible and welcoming resource for the community by offering affordable experiences, including Shabbat dinners. The subsidized price of $15 does not reflect the true cost of the meal provided ($30). If you are able, please consider covering the full cost of your Shabbat meal.
