One of the masterminds behind the Brazilian band Los Hermanos and a founding member of the samba supergroup Orquestra Imperial, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rodrigo Amarante is an inescapable musical figure in his native South American home.

Breaking out of the Brazilian market in 2008, alongside friends Fabrizio Moretti and Binki Shapiro, Amarante formed the group Little Joy and the trio released their self-titled debut album, which gained critical acclaim both in the U.S. and worldwide.
