Samantha Bee: How to Survive Menopause – Late Show
- This event has passed.
Emmy Award-winning comedian Samantha Bee brings her razor-sharp wit to “How to Survive Menopause,” a bold and brutally honest one-woman show about the greatest joke to ever be played on women’s bodies: menopause. This hilarious and cathartic experience is for anyone who is going through it, has gone through it, will be going through it, or knows someone about to. Bring a small battery-operated fan to this hot flash of a live show.
Bee is renowned for having one of the most unique comedic voices on television. From 2003 – 2015, Bee was on the “Best F#@king News Team” on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” and currently holds the title for being the longest-serving regular correspondent.
Her weekly late-night comedy series, “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee,” premiered in 2016 and ran for seven seasons on TBS. “Full Frontal” offered a satirical take on weekly news and explored important stories that had been largely overlooked by traditional media outlets.
Bee is the author of the essay collection I Know I Am, But What Are You? and has been featured in TIME 100: The Most Influential People. She is also the co-creator of the half-hour comedy series, “The Detour,” and the head of her production company, Swimsuit Competition.
This program will be audio-described for the in-person audience.
