Ten Steps Toward Teshuvah
- This event has passed.
This is a two-part series that meets on Thursdays, September 7 and 14 at 7:45 pm.
The period from Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur is the holiest time of the Jewish year. How can we elevate these ten days and use them to do the real work of teshuvah, forgiveness, and return to our most authentic selves? Part text study and part self-reflection, Rabbi Suzy leads this Elul-inspired class.
By discussing different themes, such as faith, humility, and forgiveness, students will begin to map out a ten-step plan toward teshuvah. Focused on the inner work needed to seek true forgiveness and confront those who have hurt us, each student will create their own spiritual plan for the Yamim Noraim, the Days of Awe.
