An Alternative Shavuot Experience

Tara Brach, a leading western teacher of Buddhist meditation, joins Rabbi Shira and Rabbi Scott for a conversation on Judaism and spirituality. Followed by a Shavuot festival with a drum circle, text study, mindfulness practice, and dairy delights provided by Pleasant Pops and That Cheesecake Truck.
The drum circle will be led by Katy Gaughan, a drummer and drum circle facilitator through her organization Music Heals Us that provides drum circles for community celebrations, spiritual events, and festivals.
