Whether you know about Chernobyl from history class or the recent HBO series, you might not know that for centuries it was the home of a vibrant Jewish community and birthplace of the Chernobyl Chasidic dynasty.

Explore the history and legacy of this dynasty, and discuss with Rabbi Aaron the key teachings of the original Chernobyl rabbi, known as the Meor Enayim. All texts will be in English; no background necessary.
