The TEN: An Alternative Shavuot Experience
Featuring Josh Radnor
- This event has passed.
THE TEN is an innovative take on Shavuot, the holiday traditionally celebrated by studying Torah and enjoying the first fruits of the harvest.
Josh Radnor shares how Judaism has influenced his career as a writer, director, and actor.
Radnor has written, directed, and starred in two independent feature films, Liberal Arts and happythankyoumoreplease, both of which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival to great acclaim (the latter winning the festival’s 2010 Audience Award.) As an actor, he is best known for playing Ted Mosby on the Emmy-nominated CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother, which is heading into its ninth and final season. He starred on Broadway as the title character in The Graduate opposite Kathleen Turner and Alicia Silverstone. He can next be seen in Jill Soloway’s Afternoon Delight, which premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.
Following Radnor, join us downstairs for:
A “revelation” in culinary delights with master mixologist Adam Bernbach, Bar Manager of Proof and Estadio, and Roger Horowitz, founder of Pleasant Pops.
