Back in September 2011, Sixth & I hosted an event with Blake Mycoskie, the Founder and Chief Shoe Giver of TOMS, for the release of his New York Times bestselling book Start Something That Matters. TOMS has given over 10 million pairs of new shoes to children in need since it began in 2006. The company also now includes TOMS Eyewear, helping to save and restore sight for those in need.

We’re excited to welcome TOMS back to Sixth & I when we serve as the DC tour stop for the TOMS Vagabond Tour! A giant van full of quirky TOMS staff who will be making stops at festivals, fairs, (a synagogue) and giving locations around the country.

Between noon – 6:30 pm, stop by the parking lot across the street from our I Street entrance to meet TOMS staff and hear more about:
