UCB Improv Crash Course

This intimate UCB workshop is a two-hour long “crash course” in the UCB style of long-form improvisational comedy, based on the same ideas that are central to UCB’s Improv 101 class in NYC. This workshop introduces the basics of how to perform long-form improv scenes. Students will learn how to adopt and make use of the ‘yes-and,’ philosophy, how to play at the ‘top of their intelligence’, and how active listening/support is a means of creating comedic improvised scenes.

Must be 18 or older to participate. The ticket includes admission to the workshop and one ticket to the Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Company show at 7:00 pm later this evening.
