This intimate UCB workshop is a two-hour long “crash course” in the UCB style of long-form improvisational comedy, based on the same ideas that are central to UCB’s Improv 101 class in NYC.

This workshop, led by an Upright Citizen’s Brigade Touring Company member, introduces the basics of how to perform long-form improv scenes. Students will learn how to adopt and make use of the ‘yes-and’ philosophy, how to play at the ‘top of their intelligence’, and how active listening and support is a means of creating comedic improvised scenes.

Availability is limited. Must be 18 or older to participate. The cost includes admission to the workshop and one ticket to the Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Company show at 7:00 pm later that evening.
