Xavier Rudd: The Change Coming Tour

with Emmanuel Jal and Christina Holmes

Jul 27, 2017 • 7:30 pm

Warm, powerful and emotive are just a few ways to describe Rudd’s acclaimed music. The multi-instrumentalist has become known for energetic and soulful live performances and this upcoming appearance should deliver no less. Enthralling audiences with his ability to wield so many instruments at once, Rudd’s music mixes guitars, yidakis (didgeridoos), stomp box and percussion, blues harp and vocals. His distinctive sound and ability to weave together multiple genres has earned him several ARIA nominations and placed him at the top of the charts in Australia, The Netherlands, and the United States.

Rudd’s discography is rich with his message of global togetherness, acceptance and respect. His profound connection to his music and his audiences has solidified his place as one of Australia’s greatest artists, activists, and spirits.

Emmanuel Jal started his life as a child soldier in the war-torn region of Southern Sudan in the early 1980s and overcame many obstacles to become a Juno Award nominated recording artist, actor, and peace ambassador.

Christina Holmes began playing guitar at the age of 8 and writing songs at 10. Christina has performed at legendary venues such as Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta, The Hard Rock Cafe in Chicago, and The Middle East in Boston. Her new album, Peace, Love, and C. Holmes embodies the artist’s passion for her music and her hope of changing the listener’s day for the better.
