Led by Rabbi Suzy, this alternative first night seder combines traditional Passover rituals, singing, storytelling, and a festive meal with non-traditional conversations about current social justice issues using a multimedia haggadah to illuminate the modern struggle for freedom and dignity for all.

Shabbasana™: Pre-Shabbat Yoga

Prepare your mind and body for Shabbat with Jewish-inspired yoga led by yoga instructor, Dan Kapner. Shabbasana blends gentle flow movements with breath work and stretching for a therapeutic and meditative experience that promotes stress relief and overall well-being.

Musical and interactive service with Rabbi Shira and musician Rick Recht. Enjoy appetizers and drinks before the 7:15 pm service. Dinner will be parve and kosher (vegetarian option available).

Broadway Sings

This acclaimed concert series takes a pop icon and flips their music to create new, unique arrangements and orchestrations. Each installment gathers over a dozen Broadway stars to belt out new versions of the songs you love, backed by a full jazz band.

Serve Others with Sixth & I

Serve breakfast at So Others Might Eat (SOME), an organization that works to end chronic homelessness in DC. The shift lasts from 6:30 am – 9:15 am.

This Memorial Day Weekend, a group from Sixth & I will relive the fun of summer camp with other Jewish adults from across the country at Camp Nai Nai Nai, a project of Moishe House and Trybal Gatherings. Get in the camp spirit and learn more about the experience at our pre-camp social. Enjoy grownup takes on camp favorites, including a gourmet grilled cheese bar and a local craft cider sampling.
