Mothers Circle Informational Meeting

Mothers Circle, created by The Jewish Outreach Institute, is an innovative program for non-Jewish women raising Jewish children. Learn about the program from mothers from previous circles who will be on hand to answer questions. This program is taught by Jewish parenting author and Sixth & I family programming coordinator, Meredith Jacobs.

Explore the intersection of Judaism and flexibility with Torah yoga, enjoy a light lunch, and learn fun ways to make a Passover seder family friendly. Each family will take home a “seder in a sack” and tools to create a personalized seder.

Shabbat Around the World-Purim!

Enjoy a festive Persian dinner and hamentaschen dessert in the land of Shushan where the story of Purim takes place. Storyteller Noa Baum will lead children in a Purim schpiel – a fun dramatization of the Megillah, Book of Esther.

Groggers
and masks will be provided, and costumes are encouraged!

Parent of a new Jewish baby? It’s a whole new world—diapers, late-night feedings, and family values. Join us for a new parent workshop where you can bring your baby, find support, and make new friends. Each week we’ll focus on a different topic of interest and share the values and experiences we hope to instill in our children’s lives. Led by Certified Parent Coach Michelle Stravitz. Infants 0 – 6 months.

Latkes & Lullabies

Come in your PJs to celebrate the second night of Chanukah! Jewish children’s author Jacqueline Jules will read from her book, The Ziz and the Hanukkah Miracle. Children can have their photo taken with Ziz, the puppet. Enjoy latkes and sufganiyot, play dreidel, sing songs, light the menorah, and eat a light dinner. Program ends at 8:00 pm.
