- This event has passed.
This Fall, Slingshot will publish the first ever resource guide to the most innovative Jewish organizations in the DC area. Celebrate and support the work of these non-profits, while learning about amazing projects happening in your own backyard.
More than just networking, you’ll be playing the role of philanthropist, with real money at stake. You’ll have the opportunity to get familiar with all of the organizations in the Slingshot DC Edition, and allocate $3,000 in grants to your favorites!
Whether you’re a regular on the DC Jewish scene, never been to an event before, or are just curious what this is all about—we hope to see you and your friends there!
Slingshot aims to build sustained support for innovation in Jewish life to meet the current and future needs of the Jewish people. We promote innovative programs and run these types of workshops across the country for funders of all ages, social entrepreneurs, Jewish professionals, and those looking to get involved in Jewish life.
The Slingshot DC Edition and celebration events are made possible by the Emanuel J. Friedman Philanthropies. This event is planned in collaboration with Sixth & I, Moishe House & the REALITY and ROI Communities
