Volunteer with Sixth & I’s Community Service Collective and Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area (LSS/NCA) for an afternoon of wellness workshops designed to empower participants to live healthier lives, both mentally and physically.

Volunteers will assist with and participate in workshops facilitated by the Sixth & I community focused on emotional health and the mind-body connection. Plus, lead games and crafts activities for children not participating in the workshops. Workshops will be attended by members of LSS/NCA’s Youth Development & Wellness program, which serves youth affected by HIV/AIDS, mental illness, and substance abuse in the Metro DC area.

Proceeds from ticket purchases will underwrite the cost of meals provided for Lutheran Social Services’ Youth Haven program participants. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. For more information, please contact our Assistant Director of Religious Programming, Kira.
