Writing Renewal
- This event has passed.
Join us for a do-it-yourself crafty evening and interactive discussion on the significance, revival, and power of correspondence at the time of the New Year. As we explore the power of the “inscribed” word in this season of renewal, we will create our own cards to send to family and friends. To get our creative juices flowing, we’ll look at examples of New Years correspondence throughout the ages, from the poignant exchanges of our own families to the more outlandish pictorial montages of the early twentieth century. Participants are encouraged to bring examples of creative correspondence that have particular significance in their own lives. Supplies provided, but please bring your own pair of scissors. Led by artist and writer, Rachel Farbiarz.
For those in their 20s and 30s. And for the record, we love all bubbes everywhere.
