Rosh Hashanah Pop-up Service
The Rosh Hashanah Pop-up Service will be the Mincha—the afternoon—service and will contain many of the highlights of the traditional Rosh Hashanah service, including the petitionary prayers for the New Year and the rabbi’s sermon.
Tashlich
On the second day of Rosh Hashanah, perform Tashlich at Georgetown Waterfront Park, a tradition for the Jewish New Year in which you toss bread into a body of water to symbolically cast away regrets from the past year.
Friday Night Shabbat Services with MesorahDC

Bake Pink, Think Pink
For women in their 20s and 30s
During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, make pink challah and learn how to be proactive about your health with Sharsheret, an organization that offers a community of support to women of all Jewish backgrounds, diagnosed with breast or ovarian cancer or at increased genetic risk. Braid pre-made pink challah dough, add fun pink toppings, and take it home to bake fresh for Shabbat.
