Light Fixtures

Many of the original bronze light fixtures that had adorned the building during its early period found their way into the collection of the Jewish Historical Society of Greater Washington after Adas Israel Congregation vacated the building in 1951. They are now on loan to Sixth & I and hang in their original locations in the sanctuary and the north entrance foyer.

  • The Eternal Light once again hangs over the Holy Ark as it did in the building's early years. It is on loan from the Jewish Historical Society of Greater Washington.

  • Original sconces illuminate the sanctuary.
