Letter Writing with VoteRiders

VoteRiders will train volunteers on the importance of combating confusion around state voter ID laws and share best practices for letter-writing to provide voters with the ID information and assistance they need to ensure their votes count.

Inspired by Rosh Chodesh, the start of a new month in the Jewish calendar, Rabbi Nora leads song-filled morning prayers and kavvanot (intentions) to start your day.

CANCELED: Working for Change: Labor, Justice, and Judaism

Leading up to Labor Day weekend, hear what Judaism has to say about labor justice and learn about local organizing efforts from Hannah Garelick of Jews United for Justice, Altagracia Kubinyi of the National Domestic Workers Alliance, and Sarah Levesque of OPEIU-Local 2, which represents thousands of workers in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

Jewish Welcome Workshop

The class is a mix of lectures, group activities, text studies, and holiday celebrations. No Hebrew language knowledge is required for this class. Those wishing to convert will meet with one of the rabbis individually during the year and beyond.
