Cocktails and Kweens
For women in their 20s and 30s

Interfaith Roundtable
Filled with learning, music, and small-group conversation, this gathering aims to build common cause among young professionals of the Muslim community, District Church, Metropolitan AME Church, New York Avenue Presbyterian Church, and Sixth & I.
How To Be A Jewish Feminist
In connection with Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche’s upcoming talk, Rabbi Suzy offers a two-week class on how to be both a feminist and a proud Jew. Explore texts that depict women in problematic ways alongside concepts that empowered our matriarchs in revolutionary ways. Discuss how the modern women’s movement has radically changed—and continues to change—the American Jewish community.

Grogger & Glow: A Purim Celebration
Experience a full megillah reading and an unconventional spiel, a satirical spin on the traditional Purim story. Then, enjoy hamantaschen, dancing, and plenty of libations at our blacklight after-party.
Serve Others with Sixth & I
Serve breakfast at So Others Might Eat (SOME), an organization that works to end chronic homelessness in DC. The shift lasts from 6:30 am – 9:15 am.
Sounds Mystical
