Good Intentions: A Mindfulness Retreat

As 2023 comes to a close, take time to slow down and attend to your mind, heart, and body in a supportive, communal environment. This retreat led by Mindfulness Coach Alison Cohen weaves guided meditation drawing from Judaism and other practices, discussion using Mindfulness-Based Communication for Connection tools, and words of reflection to help deepen your practice.

Light Up the Night: A Chanukah Party

Raise a glass to the fifth night of Chanukah with festive drinks and a latke bar from Buffalo and Bergen. Taste and vote on your favorite sufganiyot from local restaurants, light the menorah, and put your dreidel game to the test during our winner-takes-all tournament.  

Shine Your Light

During Chanukah, Wall Street Journal bestselling author Randi Braun and Rabbi Nora offer a Jewish perspective on shining your light inside and outside of the workplace. Learn how to kindle the spark within to leverage your unique skills and talents, find balance to avoid flaming out, and turn your light outwards to achieve your personal and professional goals. 

Holiday Donation Drive

During Chanukah, assemble holiday care kit gift bags for residents at transitional housing shelters provided by New Endeavors by Women (NEW). NEW aims to end the cycle of homelessness by offering education, employment, and housing, and by fostering the development of life skills.
